To meet the testing requirements of special measured flow fields, extremely stringent demands are often placed on the miniaturization design of pressure sensors. To achieve accurate measurement of broadband, high-frequency dynamic pressure variations without disturbing the flow field, the DSP-Mi miniature dynamic pressure sensor has been specially developed. This sensor adopts a high-performance MEMS piezoresistive sensing die imported directly from Switzerland. Combined with internationally advanced welding technology and miniaturized packaging techniques, the sensing die is installed inside a stainless steel protective housing and encapsulated with silicone rubber elastomer, which effectively protects the die from external environmental influences. The excitation power supply and signal measurement are transmitted and supplied via a small shielded cable routed from the back or side of the sensor housing. This design gives the sensor the advantages of small effective size, compact structure and high robustness, while exhibiting excellent high-frequency dynamic response performance and long-term stability. Particularly conveniently, the DSP-Mi miniature dynamic pressure sensor can be easily mounted onto adapted structures by means of adhesive bonding or mechanical assembly.
